Community Hub
Our Story
Broads Bulletin a local news network. Working at the grass roots level, we are a community hub where people can share information and engage with community news. Broads Bulletin promotes local businesses, tourism, local charities, community groups and organisations in and around the East Broadland area. Broads Bulletin is a nexus point that connects people to their place by building a sense of local identity and belonging.
Our Story
Like all great things, we started small. We took a few like-minds with a shared vision—and ran with it. Today, we’ve grown into something big.
Broads Bulletin
Hoveton is a village that sits across the River Bure from the village of Wroxham. The neighbouring village of Wroxham is credited as the 'Capital of the Broads', however, this is a misnomer as Hoveton that is the major service centre for tourism on the Northern Norfolk Broads. In 2017, we created the community network hub to put Hoveton on the map as the village lacked a distinct sense of place within the Norfolk Broads.
In 2022 we changed the name from Our Hoveton to Broads Bulletin as our news network grew. However, we remain very much a grass roots community news page based in Hoveton.
